Local resident Jo Jo Ishtar is organising a charity fundraiser at Off the Cuff by Herne Hill station on Saturday 18 June.
She is raising money for a local charity BeyondAutism which supports families who care for a child or relative with autism. “I am quite passionate about this,” she says, “my eldest son, now 30, has the condition and there were no such charities when he was young.”
The fundraiser is a music and performance event, with mostly local DJs and artists from the Eclectik Collective playing dance music.
