Community Banner making

The Friends of Brixton Tate Library have designed a banner based on their Local Heroes initiative.
As it is not yet possible to get together to create the banner, this talk will explore the tradition and history of banner making by diverse communities, with local, national and international examples.
Speakers include Annick Alet and Rita Keegan, a local artist and archivist of the Women of Colour Archive.
Friends of Tate Library event hosted by the Brixton Society.
