DIY COCKTAIL: Classic Bloody Mary

Especially in winter, can any new wave hipster cocktail compete with the classic Bloody Mary? After all, this is a cocktail you can have for breakfast. Here at Bugle Towers, we tend to wait for brunch and we like them spicy.

2-4 ice cubes
Vodka double shot (Grey Goose is a favourite)
Juice (only) of ½ lemon
6 dashes Worcestershire sauce
3 dashes Tabasco sauce (or more to taste)
175ml tomato juice
Celery salt (or just salt)
Freshly ground black pepper

Place the ice into a tall glass and add the vodka shots
Add the lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce and tomato juice
Stir well
Season with celery salt and pepper
Add celery stick and serve

Pimp it?
Up to you if you want to augment a classic, but almost anything goes – crispy bacon, croutons, chorizo, cornichons, olives or prawns.
