Lambeth mayor Donatus Anyanwu and local restaurant and bar owner former Miss Jamaica Universe April Jackson of Three Little Birds on Coldharbour Lane, joined Brixton Business Improvement District director Michael Smith outside Morleys to ceremonially switch on the Christmas lights.
They had a musical accompaniment from pan players Divine Steel and singers from the Rapture Ministries Church of the Open Bible in Norwood Junction.
