Lambeth Equality Commissioner Dr Miranda Brawn is to open the world’s largest professional development conference which takes place virtually in Los Angeles from 1 to 7 August.
Billed as “one of the best women of colour speakers on the planet”, she will join other world-leading motivational and success speakers including Les Brown, Jack Canfield and Beyoncé’s father Mathew Knowles.
The conference, The Best You Virtual Expo 2020, will be accessible from the UK and all over the world.
Dr Brawn, who is a former patron of Brixton’s Black Cultural Archives, will open the conference at 7.30pm London time on 1 August. Her session, in the Inspiration Zone, is titled “Dare to dream big and succeed”.
The success coach, internatonal motivational public speaker, and self-help author has numerous awards and honorary doctorates, while her career includes work as a lawyer, investment banker, business media contributor and board advisor for organisations across all sectors and educational institutions.
She is also the founder and CEO of a multi-award-winning charity, The Miranda Brawn Diversity Leadership Foundation. It helps to educate, inspire and empower the next generation of diverse leaders while increasing all forms of diversity in the workplace.
