Free programme for social entrepreneurs in Lambeth

School for Social Entrepreneurs away day

The School for Social Entrepreneurs has launched a new programme for Lambeth residents who have ideas about how to create positive change in their community, Henna Patel reports.

The programme consists of six free workshops to help budding social entrepreneurs discover how to turn their vision for change in Lambeth into a reality. If you live in Lambeth and have an idea that will create social or environmental change, then this programme could be for you.

To apply, visit the School for Social Entrepreneurs website and register to attend one of the information and recruitment sessions (16 May 6-8.30pm or 23rd May 6-8.30pm).

These sessions are an opportunity for you to find out if the programme is right for you, ask any questions, discover more about the workshop topics, and experience SSE’s interactive learning approach.

Igniting Change in Lambeth will be delivered by the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE), funded by and in partnership with Lambeth council and Capita.

Participants will develop their ideas and learn how to test and build a social enterprise, working with leading experts during June and July

SSE will help budding social entrepreneurs learn about emotional resourcefulness, building networks, social impact and business skills. These valuable skills will help participants of Igniting Change in Lambeth to create the change they wish to see in their community.

You don’t need any educational qualifications. SSE welcomes people from all backgrounds, abilities, and they make no judgements on your past. They’re looking for passionate and committed people who want to ignite change in Lambeth
