Kaff Bar are to host a fundraiser tomorrow night (Thursday) for a Brixton hairdresser who suffered a head injury while on holiday in Egypt.

Friends launched an appeal for Tidy Hair owner, Sean O’Sullivan, who went into a coma after falling and hitting his head at the hotel where he was staying.

Friends are desperately trying to raise funds for O’Sullivan, who doesn’t have medical insurance, so he can get the care that he needs until he is well enough to come home to the UK.

He has regained consciousness but is still too unwell to come home.

According to the Facebook appeal page: “Sean is still suffering from a very bad stomach illness.

“The doctors are currently monitoring Sean, and we hope that they will soon issue a certificate saying he is fit to fly.”

O’Sullivan’s friends and family are hoping that the event at Kaff will raise the vital funds needed for his treatment and flight home.

As well as live music, there will also be a bake sale and a raffle.

Raffle prizes include: a complimentary haircut and finish at Tidy Hair, dinner for two at Pullens in Herne Hill and 7 inch drum from Whippersnapper.

A full list of prizes is available on Sean’s appeal page on facebook. The fundraiser at Kaff Bar, Atlantic Rd, is on Thursday April 3 from 7pm onwards.

  1. Just heard about what has happened to Sean, in shock!!!

In regards to raising funds has anyone approached ‘GAY’ to help, if all people attending gave a £1 that would surely help. Also could try local bars/clubs.
