Clapham and Brixton Hill MP Bell Ribeiro-Addy today (14 November) launched a competition for local school pupils to design her annual Christmas card.
She is asking young people who live in Clapham and Brixton Hill or go to school in the constituency to submit an entry, which can be hand-drawn or designed with computer software.
“My Christmas card competition is a chance to celebrate the creative talent of school pupils in our constituency,” she said.
“Christmas is a time for compassion and community. The theme of this year’s contest is ‘kindness in the community’. The MP said she is looking for “designs which celebrate the spirit of togetherness that makes Christmas so important” – helping others, building connections, and spreading festive joy in the community. “I’m hoping to see lots of designs that reflect these values and celebrate togetherness in Clapham and Brixton Hill,” she said.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing what our brilliant young people come up with.”
Her favourite entry will be sent to thousands of people across the constituency as the official Christmas e-card.
Entries can be submitted via email (bell.ribeiroaddy.mp@parliament.uk), social media, or post (addressed to Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP, House of Commons, London, SWIA OAA). The deadline is Sunday 8 December.
Full details of the competition are on the MP’s website.
