Dip & Flip – the gravy with everything eatery – will be briefly back in Brixton after closing its Atlantic Road restaurant just over a year ago.
It has teamed up with Brixton Brewery to turn the brewer’s main production site on Milkwood Road into a pop-up beer garden for one weekend – Saturday and Sunday 25 and 26 July.
The yard will be serving beer fresh from the brewery, burgers from Dip&Flip, ices from Hackney Gelato and DJ sets.
Tickets are £25 and include two pints, a smashed burger and fries (veg and vegan versions available, also gluten-free buns), and a tub of Hackney Gelato peanut butter or coconut sorbetto (vegan).
Organisers say the event will follow all government guidance. Large tables are suitable for groups of four to six people from no more than two households, smaller tables are suitable for groups of two to three.
They stress that to ensure social distancing pre-booking is essential and there can be no walk-ins.
Dip & Flip was founded in Battersea in 2013 and still has outlets there and in Wimbledon and Tooting with a pop-up in Waterloo.
