A former WBC middleweight champion paid tribute to young south Londoners celebrating their boxing success at an awards ceremony hosted by a Brixton-based boxing group.
Richie Woodhall, a Commonwealth Games medallist, presented medals to dozens of young winners of the Lambeth Boxing Awards created by Lambeth Police and a local boxing project Dwaynamics.
The project, which was established by Pastor Lorraine Jones in memory of her son Dwayne Simpson, has coached dozens of youngsters from across south London.
