A Brixton-based show, featuring two iconic British illustrators opens today and runs until Sunday at Brixton East on Barrington Road. The show brings together two acclaimed artists, Delphine Lebourgeois and Anna Marrow for days only in support of Art For Care. The show has been curated by contemporary online gallery, Gas.

The exhibition will feature Delphine’s latest work from her new illustrated series, Fall, (right) and will be supported with the largest exhibition to date of her portfolio of printed works spanning over ten years. Artist Anna Marrow’s collage and print based work will accompany the show (below).

For every piece of artwork sold throughout the four-day event, an Art Kit, made up of colouring books, paper and art supplies, will be donated ro a children’s hospital ward in the UK, to help children heal emotionally as well as physically.

Gina Cross, Director of South London based GAS Gallery told the Brixton Blog “We’re really excited to be bringing Delphine’s and Anna’s work together under one roof. Both artists are known for their colourful and imaginative work and have gained recognition from art collectors worldwide. As a Brixton resident for over 20 years, it was important to me that we did this show locally, while supporting a worthy cause in Art For Care.”
