London Assembly poll hustings in Herne Hill

The Herne Hill Forum is organising a hustings for the forthcoming London Assembly elections on Wednesday 24 April at 7pm.

All candidates for the Lambeth and Southwark constituency on 2 May are being invited to take part at the Baptist church on the corner of Half Moon Lane and Winterbrook Road, SE24.

They are invited to debate policies and answer questions from the audience.

Local residents can send in questions in advance to: info@hernehillforum.org.uk or ask questions on the night.

The event is free and ticketless – just turn up on the night.

 “If you live, work or run a business in Lambeth and Southwark, this is a great opportunity to really get to know what our London Assembly candidates’ views are on a whole range of issues that matter to you – housing, transport, crime and safety, planning and more,” said Mary Burguieres, chair of forum.

“It will be an interactive and lively session.”

The forum reminded voters that they now need to take photo identity with them to the polling station on 2 May.
