This year’s Brixton Immortals Domino Club Black History Month event includes “a night of captivating entertainment, for everyone in our community, by our community”.
The event is a whole day of free activities on Saturday 28 October at Clapham Library, 91 Clapham High Street, London SW4 7DB.
From noon to 4.30pm, visitors can browse its Black Stalls Market accompanied by live music from Vibes FM radio.
They can enjoy and learn dominoes at workshops from 2.30 to 4.30pm
The Domino Room and the back room will be open from 4.30 to 9pm
Rehearsals for the evening event will take place from 5 to 6pm. The show itself starts at 6.30pm with a 30-minute break at 7.30pm for guest speakers and continues until 9.30pm when the hall will be cleared for dancing which will continue until 1am with a break for a raffle at 11pm.
