More Brixton Windrush events

Brixton’s Windrush 75 celebrations continue in Windrush Square today (24 June) with the Immortals domino club hosting Domino Mania until 6pm and tomorrow with the Big Caribbean Lunch.

The carnival-style procession down Railton and Atlantic Roads on Windrush Day itself passed historic sites central to the story of the Windrush Generation and Brixton, like that of the George pub, burned down in the 1981 Uprising.
