Poetic Unity’s positive impact from the first Lockdown

Local charity Poetic Unity, responsible for the Poets Corner at the Black Cultural Archive, have released this report on the positive impact their online sessions have had since the first Lockdown in March 2020.

Poetic Unity have launched two new workshops alongside their existing programme:
Still Locked Up 2.0 Workshop – Poetry workshops supporting young people’s Mental Health during Lockdown. Starting Monday 1 February 2021. For ages 16-30 years old, the workshop is free and delivered via Zoom. To register your interest email, info@poeticunity.org.uk with the title ‘Still Locked Up’. This workshop is funded by London Community Foundation.
Mental-Health-Matters-WorkshopThe second workshop is Mental Health Matters – Giving young people a safe space to express themselves and connect with the community during Lockdown. Starting Thursday 4 February 2021. For ages 16-30 years old, free and delivered via Zoom. To register your interest email, info@poeticunity.org.uk with the title ‘Mental Health Matters’. These have been funded by DCMS and The National Lottery Community Fund.
