Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses (BPCG) is a community garden in the centre of Brockwell Park, providing a haven for local people and urban wildlife, building community and improving lives by enabling people to take part in gardening, outdoor learning, play and creative activities.

Paddy Reynolds is running one-to-one guitar lessons on alternate Saturday mornings for a £10 donation that will go to help maintain the greenhouses

There will be Tai Chi sessions on the decking with Andy Petch at the greenhouses on Saturday afternoons from 2 – 3pm.

New introduction to greenwood sculpture classes and introductions to making spoons and spatulas are on Fridays and Sundays from noon to 4pm and bookable on the website.

BPCG run regular gardening workshops on Sunday mornings from 10am to 1pm, also regular monthly courses on maintaining a kitchen garden, the productive garden, planting an ornamental border and composting with a nominal one off booking charge.

You can also volunteer at the Greenhouses on drop-in volunteering days from Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Or just pop in to see what’s going on. Organic plants and produce are for sale all year.

As a volunteer, you can be involved in gardening, buildings renovation, cooking, carpentry, fundraising, selling plants and produce, helping at music and food events. To become a BPCG volunteer please sign up on the website.
