Makerhood are celebrating eight years of community activity with a Xmas Party at the Brixton Pound Café on 7 December 7-11pm. Join in and make your own Christmas cards and decorations at the same time as enjoying live music and local comedian Yvonne, a member of Impact Hub.
Makerhood is a maker’s collective based in Brixton that has been helping makers move from being hobbyists to professionals for the last eight years.
- Make Christmas cards for your nearest and dearest. Makerhood will provide basics like paper, glue and fabric – but do bring your own stuff too – recycling is particularly encouraged!
- Hear live music and comedy. Much loved musicians AP Clarke and Gaia Casagrande, amazing young talent from School Ground Sound and the original local comedian, activist and entrepreneur Yvonne D.
- Enjoy tasty drinks and snacks from the Brixton Pound Cafe
