Brixton resident and hair extension specialist Toni Shand has won the Hair Extension Specialist award at the annual London Hair and Beauty Awards.
Toni, who who launched HB3 Hair Extensions two years ago, offers a mobile service across London.
“I always wanted to run a successful beauty business,” she says. “I opened a salon in my native Montrose in Scotland four years ago and when I moved to London I was determined to make HB3 Hair Extensions a success, despite having to build a whole new client base and facing more local competition.
“I’m delighted that my hard work has been recognised by the London Hair and Beauty Awards and want to give a huge thanks to all those who voted for me.”
Irfan Younis, CEO of event organiser Creative Oceanic, said: “We have had a fantastic response from the public, who voted in their thousands to ensure that their favourite hair and beauty gurus and establishments in London secured a spot as finalists.”
