Public consultation to be held on proposals for Walton Lodge, Coldharbour Lane

waltonlodgeThis Saturday Lexadon Property Group will hold the first of two public consultations on its proposals for Walton Lodge on Coldharbour Lane.

The former laundry business was bought last summer by Lexadon, owned by property developer Jerry Knight, who wants to turn the site into 13 apartments with a space for “business and commercial opportunities” on the ground floor.

The original features will apparently remain the same and Lexadon says it intends to be “as sensitive as possible” to the building’s heritage. Walton Lodge Laundry had been operating in the building since 1904 and the front is locally listed.

Lexadon has invited residents to come down to the site on January 24 and 31 from 10am to 2pm, at Walton Lodge, 374 Coldharbour Lane, to view and discuss the proposed plans.  If anyone is unable to attend but would still like to comment they are asked to email sarah@lexadon.co.uk. Further details of the proposals can be found on Lexadon’s website.
