Police worried about missing patient

Joseph Decklan has been missing since December 27

Police in Lambeth are increasingly concerned for the welfare of Joseph Decklan, who has disappeared from Kings College Hospital for the second time in a fortnight.

Mr Decklan, 63, is Afro-Caribbean, of medium build, with short grey hair. He is about 5”8 – 5”10ft in height and is wearing a matching grey tracksuit with a white t-shirt inside and white trainers. He was last seen at 2.30pm on January 4.

He is a long term patient at the hospital and has to be fed through a tube due to his medical condition. It is dangerous for him to consume anything in the conventional manner. He also suffers with epilepsy.

His home address is in Coburg Crescent, Tulse Hill, and he is known to frequent the surrounding area to the hospital, St. Matthew’s Church, Meadow Row SE1 and Metropolitan Tabernacle SE1.

Police have asked anyone with information to call 999 or the missing persons unit on 020 8721 3537.

Mr Joseph previously went missing from Kings College Hospital last month.
