A man has been taken to hospital after being assaulted outside McDonalds, Brixton Road, this morning.
Police were called at 5.15am to the restaurant, at the junction with Acre Lane, where they found a man in his 40s suffering head injuries.
The bus lane northbound on Brixton Road was closed to traffic, causing delays to rush hour traffic, but the road has now re-opened.
No arrests have yet been made.
