National media crews have descended on Peckford Place, in Brixton, this afternoon after it was revealed as the centre of investigations by police in the shocking case of alleged ‘slavery’ in Lambeth.
Camera crews have formed a scrum outside a modern three-story block, just yards from the busy Brixton Road, as reporters frantically knock on the doors of neighbours.
One man was overheard to be negotiating a contract worth £10,000 for his story with various national newspapers.
Brixton Blog understands that the Peckford Place building pictured was built in the last nine years, though the three women were allegedly held in some form of domestic servitude for 30 years.
