Members and supporters of National Hate Crime Awareness Week (NHCAW) will meet once again at 6pm outside the Iceland Store on Electric Avenue in Brixton tomorrow on 17 April as they do each year for a short act of remembrance.
They will mark the 25th anniversary of the nail bomb planted there by the right-wing terrorist David Copeland.
It was followed by two more. One in Brick Lane on 24 April and a bomb on 30 April left in the Admiral Duncan pub in Soho that killed three people. Copeland was arrested and sentenced to six life sentences.
Several people were seriously injured in the Brixton attack.
