Slime Planet, the UK’s first slime venue has opened up in Loughborough Junction. To celebrate it is running Easter workshops for kids to make their own slime surprise eggs. The Surprise Egg-stravaganza workshops run each day at 11am, 1pm and 4pm and cost £12.50 per child. You can book on www.slimeplanet.co.uk/book
Slime Planet was set up by local parents, Nishi Bowan Saville and Chris Saville in 2018 after their children, Bibi and Dil, started experimenting with slime recipes at home.
“The problem was, YouTube slime recipes required ingredients such as borax and starch spray, and most of the time, these ingredients didn’t make great slime (plus they weren’t very child-friendly!) “
Over the next six months the whole family tested recipes until the slime was perfected. Slime planet was then born in Loughborough Junction when the family took the keys to Arch 494 on Rathgar Rd.
Slime Planet is open every weekend, offering a programme of workshops on both Saturday & Sunday. Workshops include Original Slime, Glow in the Dark Slime, and Slime of The Week, which change regularly. www.slimeplanet.co.uk/book
