This Saturday (14th), Myatt’s Fields Park is putting on a free Harvest Festival event featuring a performance by Levi Roots, Brixton People’s Kitchen’s roving kitchen and loads of Thai and Caribbean stalls – selling food grown in Myatt’s own greenhouse.
From 1pm to 5pm, there’ll be a range of ‘food fun’ for children and adults, with kids being able to ‘cook over an open fire as well as foraging for food during a workshop provided by NaturActive (who give children the chance to explore nature during weekly sessions in the Mulberry Centre).’ In addition, Bee Urban will be running a bee keeping workshop!
Performers include Mafia and Fluxy and special guests Earl 16, Tasonia, and the Reggae Choir.
More info over at Myatt’s website – and on the flyer.
