Lambeth council is seeking the views of local voluntary and community organisations to help prepare its consultations on the five low traffic neighbourhoods (LTNs) it has created in the borough.
It plans to begin full public consultation on the LTNs in the autumn.
In preparation for this, the council has told voluntary and community organisations that it wants to engage with them “to gain a fuller understanding of any specific needs of particular groups” – both in relation to LTNs and to make sure community organisations and their service users can access the consultation survey when it is launched.
It is asking community and voluntary organisations to complete a “pre-consultation survey”.
Council officers will be available to meet organisations online with sessions running through July and early August.
Here is the link to the survey which seems more geared to community service providers, and linking in council services, rather than a survey for residents who live in these neighbourhoods? https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/6KFKKZH?mc_cid=c4381ac412&mc_eid=0e13582b93
Have Resident Associations been contacted or is it the usual ‘friends of the council’ brigade who are being asked?
