Adrian Coleman is a British-born American painter currently living in Brixton, London. His most recent paintings explore the paradox of his relationship to Britain, as a native and an outsider. He combines British motifs with themes of transplantation, belonging, and estrangement. In 2020, Adrian was awarded the Hopper Prize.
