Fiona Freund is a Brixton based portrait photographer who has travelled the world photographing the great, the good, and the glittery. She has shot fashion and celebrities for Vogue, The Weekend Guardian and Observer Magazines and many more. Recently she created #MotherWorks, a photography exhibition, campaign and book celebrating the bizarre and brilliant duality of the lives of working mums; intimate, humorous images of the women who hold the economy with one hand and a baby with the other. The exhibition was shown in the Houses of Parliament, was part of the Royal Photography Society’s 100 Heroines exhibition and was on show in Brixton Library to celebrate International Women’s Day 2020. The images she has included in the show are Brixton Sunrise shot in Brockwell Park on a beautiful frosty morning in January 2018 and Block Workout from a voluntary project documenting this amazing Brixton community street gym.
