If you watch one film …

Dirty War on the NHS posterIn common with cinemas all over the world, the doors of Curzon establishments are closed.

To help cinema-lovers stay connected, it is offering one free film to people who register, no subscription is needed.

One of its current films is The Dirty War on the NHS, a documentary by BAFTA and Emmy-winning film-maker and journalist John Pilger. Unfortunately it is not included in the free film offer (Thanks to our correspondents for letting us know this).

“This film is a tribute to a unique institution,” says Pilger at the start of Dirty War, which is about threats to democracy and, above all, a warning.

Pilger investigates the dismantling by stealth of the National Health Service, “a last bastion of true public service”.
