South Social Film Festival is partnering with MUBI UK & Ireland to bring viewers a weekly supply of vintage films through its Social Cineclub, every Saturday at 8pm
And after watching the work of great directors, famous stars and unforgettable stories, you can join other Cineclub members on Zoom for a discussion (password on request).
Not only will you get to watch a film, but you get a free three-month subscription to MUBI.
The club opens on Saturday, with My Blueberry Nights (2007) by master director Wong Kar-wai – a star-studded love story with four leads – Jude Law, Norah Jones, Rachel Weisz, and Natalie Portman.
A lonely young woman takes a soul-searching journey across the USA to resolve her questions about love and meets a series of offbeat characters along the way.
And that’s not all from South Social. It is organising Social Mingling to help keep us healthy and sane, with a series of Watch Party on Facebook every Wednesday at 7pm,
Favourite filmmakers exhibit a short film and are online for a quick Q&A after the show.
