‘Brixton Revival’ celebrates the African-Caribbean presence in Brixton from the 1950s to today. Based in Diverse gift shop in Coldharbour Lane, The multi-media display of sound equipment, memorabilia and merchandise acts as a Pop-Up Tourist Centre where visitors can find out more about black businesses past and present.
Join in for a weekend of activities and #BrixRevival vibes!
Brixton Revival Pop-Up at Diverse, 390 Coldharbour Lane SW9 until 25 September as part of the Brixton Design Trail 2016 one of the London Design Festival’s seven design districts.

TALK: REALISED, REVEALED, REVISITED
Artist and designer Alvin Kofi (Kofi Arts) talks about what’s behind the concept of the new Revival brand. He explains how, together with Terry Humphrey (TunkstoreArts) pictured right, they linked their experiences to create an installation which pays homage to the culture, creativity and enterprise of Brixton communities past and future.
