The Crafty Fox Market returns to Brixton on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May with its mixture of creative craft, art, fashion and accessory stalls to the Dog Star in Brixton.
Crafty Fox is a free-entry event that brings together an ever-changing line up of creative traders selling an exciting range of ceramics, textiles, jewellery, art-prints and gifts. Traders include: Scout Editions innovative designs, Ros Sheirs illustrative animal prints and Alijoedesigns upcycled vintage plates.
The Crafty Fox Market began in 2010 when Brixton locals Sinead and Stephan Koehler set about creating an affordable forum for talented makers to sell their work. It’s proved hugely popular with locals and non-locals alike keen to discover new creative talent and find fantastic and unique presents. Their slogan, ‘Crafting is the New Clubbing’ says it all: this is craft gone cool, but still keeping the tea and cake.
There will also be DJs spinning tunes throughout the weekend. For a break from shopping the Dogstar’s bar will be open along with the Tea’s Knees Tearoom open for teas and treats that celebrate the best of British produce.
The mix of over 100 traders across the weekend can be found online with different sellers each day: Saturday traders and Sunday traders.
As always the Crafty Fox will be holding trader led workshops so visitors can try their hand at crafts too:
