Tuesday 19 January: Head to the Tate South Lambeth Library for free films – and tea and cake for a pound. The Ladykillers (1955), a black comedy about a bank robbery starring Peter Sellers, starts at 2.30 pm.
Wednesday 20: The ‘lets laugh’ comedy night at Dogstar showcases a handpicked line-up of up-and-coming comedians and established acts. Pay what you can. Starts 7.30 pm.
Friday 22: The South London Botanical Institute hosts a plant drawing evening: an informal drop-in to draw plants from its garden and herbarium and to share advice. Bring refreshments to share. Free. From 7 pm.
