It was a dramatic early finish to the 40th Lambeth Country Show, in Brockwell Park, yesterday as tropical downpours and storms stopped play. But the biblical torrents couldn’t overshadow what was a spectacular weekend of sunshine and cider, with hundreds of thousands of Londoners flocking to our corner for the unique mix of rosettes, reggae, jousting and jerk.
This stunning gallery by Brixton photographer Martha Loves captures the scene beautifully (before the downpours gave everyone an early bath). See more on our Flickr page and send yours to us via email, Flickr, Instagram or Twitter
