Want to create a fabulous and sustainable wardrobe? Head down to TRAID Brixton’s late night opening on Thursday July 10th, from 6.30pm-9pm at 2 Acre Lane, Brixton SW2 5SG.

Browse the rails at the charity’s recently refurbished shop for the best in hand-picked second-hand clothes, vintage shoes, all to the sounds of their in-house DJ. There will also be stylists on hand to help you get the most from your charity shop finds; customers will be able to pre-book slots by phoning TRAID Brixton on 020 7326 4330 or emailing info@traid.org.uk

TRAID will also be asking shoppers to sign up to the charity’s #secondhandfirst pledge asking customers to ensure that a percentage of  their wardrobe comes from sustainable sources like charity shops and swapping.

This is the fourth in TRAID’s series of late night openings, with more planned throughout 2014 which will involve lots of different ways to create a sustainable wardrobe including up-cycling workshops, styling advice, talks and films. TRAID is a charity taking practical action to stop clothes being thrown away, so why not put second hand first this week and check out what’s in store.
