Lambeth Town Hall is to host to a summer “make-a-thon” that will see creative volunteers helping rebrand a city farm.

The Made in Lambeth 4 initiative is calling any ‘makers and doers’ to tackle two rewarding creative challenges.

The first will be a rebranding of Vauxhall City Farm. Participants will help redesign the farm’s website, by creating online profiles for the animals for example, in order to raise awareness of the farm in the community.

The second will be to make the council’s new online only services available to the borough’s less advantaged residents. The scheme hopes to achieve this through a “digital champions initiative” identifying and supporting people able to provide help to these residents.

Tom Hoy, from Made in Lambeth, said: “Made In Lambeth will be creating a real solution that will change peoples lives.”
