Two linked central Brixton venues have announced a revamp and are set to relaunch together as The Lambeth.
The former Clubhouse nightclub upstairs, and the ground floor Prince pub, next to KFC on Coldharbour Lane, have had separate identities despite being linked inside and run by the same people.
The Lambeth’s Keiron Yates told Brixton Blog that the relaunch would include a delicatessen. The place’s famous roof terrace will also remain.
Keiron boasted: “We are looking to fully utilise the amazing spaces this one-of-a-kind venue has to offer. This 24-hour licensed powerhouse has a stunning live venue, roof garden, pub and soon a deli where you can enjoy up and coming music, arts and food in the heart of south London.”
It is the latest revamp for the venue, which was also known as Dex before summer 2011. A plan for a £4.5million Holiday Inn hotel next to the nightclub was passed by Lambeth last year.
