A new mixed media art exhibition, Hodgepodge, is coming to Brixton East and will be open to the public on Sunday 10th March for one day only.
The exhibition will showcase a range of work from five young London-based artists. The project, curated and organised by Kitty Linton (who will also be exhibiting her own work), brings together several different pieces in a range of media, including painting, sculpture and textiles.
“We’re experimenting with the idea of housing it all in one exhibition,” says Kitty, “we want our work to be seen by as diverse an audience as possible and we want to surprise people.”
The artists are all art students in their second year at the University of Westminster, and this exhibition is to be their professional debut.
