We are one year old! And we’d like all you wonderful readers to come along and celebrate with us on Thursday 7 (that’s *this Thursday), so that we can thank you for continued support over the year and mainly have some fun.
So…come and celebrate with us with drinks at Kaff Bar. Music, dancing and definitely CAKE. It will be kicking off at about 8.30pm and going on until late.

Co-editor Zoe Jewell set the Blog up in January 2010 and two years later, when Tim Dickens moved into to a house opposite, they relaunched the Brixton Blog in its current form. In its first year, the site has racked up more than half a million page impressions and over 350,000 unique visits. In June 2012, we launched the Brixton Bugle, a monthly printed newspaper to further serve the community need for news.
We would like to thank volunteers for their help, businesses for their backing and all readers for their encouragement throughout 2012.
