Reggae, sunshine, sheep shearing and strong cider; Brixton is gearing itself for the Lambeth Country Show, which takes place in Brockwell Park today and tomorrow.
Dozens of stall holders are already at the Herne Hill site setting up trestle tables, whole others have risen early to make the final changes to their vegetable sculptures or flower arrangements.
Gates open today and tomorrow from 11am until 7pm, and entrance is free. The show is a short walk from Herne Hill rail station and a number of bus routes.
