Former Foreign Secretary David Miliband is due to visit Brixton Hill this afternoon as part of Ken Livingstone’s London mayor campaign.
Miliband, Labour MP for South Shields, will visit the Blenheim Gardens, Brixton Hill to meet residents and talk about the tenant managed estate.
It is the second time the Labour leader’s brother, and one time leadership opponent, has visited Brixton this year. He enjoyed a flying visit and meeting with Lambeth’s leader cllr Steve Reed in January.
An excited Reed took to Twitter to say he was “looking forward to welcoming” Miliband to Brixton Hill today.
