CK Flash, former landlord of George IV pub, puts a question to candidates at the hustings

On January 17, Brixton Hill residents will go to the polls to vote for a councillor in their ward, replacing Steve Reed who has gone to run for MP in Croydon North. We held a hustings yesterday at Corpus Christi Church with about 100 people in attendance and a suitably raucous audience. Stuart Everitt, from the Brixton-based Marmalade Productions, interviewed each candidate, asking them the question: “what would you do about high levels of unemployment in Brixton Hill?”

  1. The only one of the candidates with any semblance of credibility – the only one to get to the root of the problem in their 30-second interview – was Danny Lambert.
