It’s early January and New Year’s resolutions are still fresh in your mind. But simply saying “I will lose weight” or “I’ll get fit” simply won’t cut, you need a realistic goal to work towards.
Luckily, the Herne Hill Harriers have organised a friendly 10 kilometre race in Brockwell Park, Herne Hill, on March 3 at 10.30am. The Frank Harmer 10km 2013 includes three and a half laps of the iconic south London park.
Places, which cost £8 for club athletes and £10 for everyone else, are available through the Herne Hill Harriers website here.
Brixton Blog co-editor Tim Dickens hopes to lead a small Blog team, so look out for the relaunch of the Brixton Blog after-work running club any day now. If you want to get involved, email info@brixtonblog.com.
And whil you’re in training, why not try out the Brockwell Park fitness trail too?
