A “Day for Housing” will be held at the Karibu Education Centre in Brixton this Sunday.
The event from 1 pm to 7 pm will include discussions and debates on housing in London, including “how can we solve the housing crisis?”.
Lambeth Housing Activists and The Brick Lane Debates, who have put together the event, say the day will “will focus on planning action plus there’ll be practical workshops and skill-share, time for learning from tactics used by international and historical housing struggles…. and time to be social!”
The community event is open to all and will be attended by Guinness Estate Tenants, Save Cressingham Gardens, Lewisham Homeless Persons Union and many others.
