The third day of Brixton Underground Film Festival will see a pop-up screening at Kaff Bar, Atlantic Road, tonight at 7pm.
Director Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing will be shown in the bar, with a £5 deal for a pint, hotdog and popcorn.
The 1989 film tells a tale of simmering racial tension in a late-eighties Brooklyn neighbourhood.
The festival aims to “democratise the media and viewing experience,” by taking movies into non-traditional venues across Brixton. The location of each screening is only announced 24 hours before the event starts. The suggested donation for entry is £1.
