The search is on for the second cat to go missing from the Ferndale Road area in a week.
Hendrix, a seven-month-old female short-haired bengal, disappeared from her home in Glendall Street, Brixton, on Saturday (July 21).
She is tortoiseshell-coloured, with white tummy, face and front legs and although she was not wearing a collar she has been microchipped.
Owner Claire Hunter said: “We are so worried about her, she has never been away from home this long and we have searched the area high and low.
“We have put posters up around our street to no avail.”
She added: “She [Hendrix] is 7 months old and quite timid but very friendly, she answers to her name. On her tummy there is slightly shorter hair around her nipples as she recently had the operation to be spayed.”
Hendrix is the second cat to vanish in the area recently, after five-year-old Shibs went missing on the previous Wednesday.
