Police appealed for witnesses today after a serious assault in the early hours of Saturday.
The non fatal attack took place in St Saviour’s Road, near Brixton Hill, at 2.50am.
Parts of St Saviour’s, Lambert and Halliwell Roads were closed as forensic officers combed the area for clues.
According to police the young man was taken to hospital following the attack, which was not life threatening.
According to residents, part of Kellett Road was also closed by police on Friday night after a reported firearm incident. The Blog is currently waiting for confirmation by Lambeth police.
