Brixton art fair

Jay Service, a long-standing Brixton creative entrepreneur and art dealer, is organising the Art For You Fair, “a dynamic selection of new and pre-owned art pieces from Brixton, London and international emerging and outsider artists”.

It takes place on Sunday 10 November at the Willington Road youth and community centre near Clapham North Tube.

Jay says that 25% of the proceeds will support more London-based emerging artist to create, exhibit and sell.

“Art For You Fair is not your typical art fair, so do not expect to see the art displayed in the typical way,” he says.

“This art fair has a diverse selection of art that will appeal to any art fan.

“Our contemporary selection has paintings of British royalty like Prince Phillip and R&B royalties like Chris Brown and Rihanna.

“All our pieces are reasonably priced, so, you are sure to leave with something.”

Types of art being exhibited include: Abstract; African/Black art; African tribal masks; prints; contemporary; modern; and pop. Unique design pieces will also be on display.
