Brixton Chamber Orchestra is taking its Roving Band onto the streets for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee bank holiday weekend celebrations.
It received such flood of invitations to pop up at street parties all over Brixton for the extended Jubilee weekend, that it is looking for more opportunities to keep its Roving Band roving all weekend long.
It had eight bookings this afternoon (29 April) and space for ten more on a first-come-first-served basis. “Performances include a 30-minute set, party bangers and national anthems like you’ve never heard before!” says the orchestra.
Performance slots available:
Friday 3, Saturday 4, Sunday 5 June
- 2 x lunchtime
- 2 x mid afternoon
- 2 x early evening
