The joyful noise of the Brixton Chamber Orchestra greeted residents and commuters on Railton Road this morning (1 April) as members paraded from Herne Hill to Brixton.
Leader Matthew O’Keeffe told the Blog: “Now that we can meet, we’re going to be doing loads of free gigs this Spring and Summer all around Brixton and Lambeth, so join the list to find out more …”
Three live BCO performances sponsored by the Brixton Business Improvement District (BID) are due to take place in central Brixton on Electric Avenue, the pedestrianised section of Tunstall Road by the Bowie mural, and Brixton Station Road from 2.30 to 4pm on Mondays 12 April, 17 May and 21 June.
